Klay Thompson is injured
Thompson’s injury nightmare began during the 2019 NBA Finals against the Toronto Raptors.
During Friday’s game on June 13, 2019, he injured the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee after clumsily landing.
A torn ACL is one of the worst and scariest injuries to any athlete – with a time off of nearly a year in most cases.
The Warriors will lose 4-2 on aggregate to the Raptors.
After surgery and 15 months of convalescence, Thompson returned to the Warriors team to prepare for the 2020-21 season.

However, in November 2020, he tore his Achilles tendon – preventing him from playing a full second season.
After missing both the 2019/20 and 2020/21 seasons, Thompson is finally deemed fit enough to return to the Cavs in 2022.
