Konami will release a brand new patch that aims to improve eFootball 2022 in a number of ways. And if this week’s update proves successful, PES fans can expect an influx of players to come back and try things out.

How long have the eFootball 2022 servers been down today?

Konami has confirmed It has to shut down the PES servers today to make room for a new patch. And the full schedule has been shared in advance, revealing that eFootball 2022 maintenance will begin on Wednesday 13 April at 11pm BST. Based on what has been shared so far, the PES servers will be down for approximately nine hours, with maintenance expected to end at 8am BST on Thursday 14th April.

However, it should be noted that Konami has warned that downtime could be extended if more maintenance is required, telling fans this week: “Please note that online services will be suspended during these times. Please also note that the maintenance times can be extended if necessary. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.” For players in North America, the same maintenance period for eFootball 2022 will begin at 6:00 p.m. ET and last until 3:00 a.m. ET on Xbox, PlayStation and PC platforms.

Konami has also provided an update regarding the delayed launch of the mobile version of the game, which has no release date yet. The good news is that an announcement will be made sometime this year, with Konami confirming this week: “We would like to apologize once again for the delay in updating the mobile version of eFootball™ 2022. The development team is working hard on the mobile version of the game to ensure the final release is of the highest quality that our valued users rightly deserve. We will be making an announcement shortly regarding the release of the mobile version update. In the meantime, your patience is greatly appreciated.”
