How to complete Baby’s Arrival in Octopath Traveler 2

After jumping into Octopath Traveler 2 and completing the first chapter of one of the playable characters’ stories, you can complete side quests. One of these many side quests is called The Baby’s Coming and is located in Cape Cold in the Winterlands. If you started the game with Osvald, this is the first location you encounter after completing the first two chapters of his story.

In Cape Cold you will find a desperate father-to-be who needs a midwife for his pregnant wife. It turns out the baby is due soon and her midwife is on a pilgrimage to Flamechurch. He asks you to travel to Flamechurch, find the midwife and take her to Cape Cold to help deliver the man’s baby.

Where to find the midwife in The Baby’s Coming quest in Octopath Traveler 2?

The midwife is on the first floor of the Flamechurch Inn. If you started with Tememenos or have Tememenos in your party, it means you’ve already been to Flamechurch and can fast travel there.

Once inside the inn, the midwife is easy to spot as she’s the only other person in the room besides the innkeeper. She can be found either during the day or at night and has short blonde hair with a green bandana around it.

Bringing the midwife back to the father-to-be will reward you with:

• 3,000 sheets
• Nourishing nut
