How to complete the “Stain Removal”

While so far all Hogwarts legacy The side quest that involves collecting plants had a strange or malicious motive, “Spot Removal” is a quest that turns the tables a bit. Be warned though – another stealth stealth mission is about to begin. How to complete the “Stain Removal”.

Spot Removal starting location and NPC in Hogwarts Legacy

This side quest is supplied by Sacharissa Tugwood, who stands just outside of Dogweed and Deathcap on the north edge of Hogsmeade. The Hufflepuff student tells you that she comes from a respected family but only wants to help those below her; You have the option to affirm them or call them condescending. Her latest attempt is to rid her fellow students of their pimples by making a solution with bubotuber pus.

That’s right. This quest wants you to gather ingredients for a magical acne cream. The reason you have to do it is because she just doesn’t want to.

The Bubotubers are located in the Forbidden Forest, in a spot equidistant from the North Ford Bog Entrance and West Forbidden Forest flea stations. Select one and fly over to the quest marker.

The marker itself doesn’t take you to the actual items, but to the general area. They will quickly find that they are in a cave with a level 30 forest troll. It’s easiest to sneak in with disillusionment and gather the two bubotubers in the troll lair. Revelio is very helpful in finding them.

The next one is just outside the cave exit, off the path in the trees.

When you find it, go around the tree and head north to find the next one.

And the last one is just southwest down the slope.

Return to Zeharissa. You can turn in the bubotubers for free, but the dialogue is a lot funnier if you make the rich girl pay 500 gold for it.

You will also get the appearance of the Bubotuber Harvest Attire. In case you wanted to live out your garden fantasies I suppose.
