Unlike most Pokémon games, evolution in Pokémon Legends: Arceus is done manually. That is: you need to meet certain requirements and grow them in your pocket. Scyther is no different.
The method for evolving Scyther depends on the Pokemon you want to end up with. If it Scissorswhen you need Metal Coat like in previous games. This can be purchased in Jubilife Village with Merit Points. However, if you want to receive KleavorBug/Rock Hisui variant, you need to give your Scyther Black Auguirite. Pebblers will sometimes drop Black Auguirites when defeated. You can also find a couple in the Crimson Mirelands using the Treasure Detector.

Scizor is a familiar Pokémon, so let’s talk about the new guy: Kleavor. Kleavor gains a lot of Atk as your Scyther evolves into it, so make sure to prioritize raising this stat’s effort level. You can then dedicate the grit items to its Def or Spd first, depending on how you want to build it.
Despite his ability to hit Rock, which is known to have a lot of weaknesses, Kleavor is only vulnerable to three attacks: Water, Rock, and Steel. It is resilient to Normal and Poison. This Pokémon can gain one of two abilities: Swarm, which increases the power of Bug-type moves, and Sheer Force, which increases the power of moves that have additional effects (such as stat reductions) in exchange for ignoring said effects.
