Crisis Core pits Zack Fair against many of the classic Final Fantasy enemies that fans have come to love over the years. You can add these friendly enemies to your roster as powerful allies with a little extra work. One of the most entertaining little enemies is a goblin in a jar called the Magic Pot, and he’s a significant asset once you recruit him in Final Fantasy VII Crisis Core Reunion.

How to add the Magic Pot to the DMW in FF7 Crisis Core

To get the Magic Pot, you must meet the monster in a random encounter. A simple way to do this is to run away from fights until you come across it. When you finally use the Magic Pot, use the specific Materia it asks you to use. If successful, Magic Pot is added to the DMW to be summoned. If you don’t have the materia with you, either attack the magic pot or run away as the pot won’t fight you.

We recommend finding Magic Pot on M10-2-3, since you can get this mission quickly. If you are on this mission, equip yourself with jumping, fira, gravity, and Attack Twister. If you don’t have these materials, wait until you have them.

When Magic Pot is summoned by the DMW, you are essentially stealing items from the enemy you are facing. Magic Pot basically uses the Steal Materia, but it’s a guaranteed hit and you’ll get various items.
