How to increase inventory space in Atomic Heart

Upgrading gear, weapons, and items is key to surviving in the world of Atomic Heart. There are threats around every corner, and using your gear effectively can make a world of difference in combat. Your inventory space can fill up fairly quickly with weapons, ammo, and consumables, but it can be upgraded. How to increase your inventory space in Atomic Heart.
How to unlock inventory upgrade in Atomic Heart
To get more inventory space, you need to advance far enough in the game to unlock character upgrades. Once the character upgrades are unlocked, you can upgrade your inventory by going to the red flirty upgrade computer. Go to Character tab and upgrade your ammo first, then you can upgrade your tactical backpack which will increase inventory space.

Each inventory upgrade costs 75 Neuropolymer, but it’s worth it early on. Weapons, ammo, and consumables take up inventory space, so it’s important to have enough space for the gear you plan to carry. You can also store gear in the storage, which is located at the upgrade computer.
Once you’ve unlocked more weapons, cartridges, and consumables, you’ll need to organize your backpack and only store the gear you plan to use. Luckily, there are plenty of upgrade computers throughout the game, so you can often swap out your gear for different situations you’ll encounter.
