With Instagram’s desktop page, users previously could only browse before the giant social media platform allowed direct messages to be sent and read. These days, you can even post photos from your PC, and it’s actually pretty easy.
If you already have a really nice photo or set of photos stored on your PC, you don’t need to transfer them to your phone and worry about them losing quality by posting them that way.
Instead, you just need to log into the desktop Instagram page and then use the create post option – the square icon with the plus sign in the middle. From there, it should look a bit like how you would make a post with your phone.
Just select the photos or photos that you want to center your post and allow time to upload them to the website. From there, you’ll be able to add any filters you want, label your location, and caption your post before you send it out to be shared with your followers.
