How to transfer resources in Ixion

After unlocking a new sector in Ixion, it’s always advisable to transfer some resources like polymer, food, or electronic chips from your sane area to help in its initial development phase. Although the task may sound simple, it is quite a complicated affair since the tutorial does not clearly explain the different criteria when exporting and importing resources between sectors. In order to transfer resources between any two stages, you must not only trigger an area’s export criteria, but also meet the receiving sector’s import criteria.

How to set up import and export criteria in Ixion

To set up resource import and export criteria, you need to open the Resource Management feature. You can find the button in the following image.

After opening the resource management, you need to open the sector and select the resource you want to transfer or receive from the list of items.

Let’s assume for the instructions that you need to transfer 50 alloys from Sector 1 to Sector 2. Click on Sector 1 and highlight that active button next to alloys. Set those desired amount in the branch at least 50 units less than the amount available to you. If you have 100 alloys, leave the desired amount at 50. Disable all other sectors except sector 2 below export to the sector Tab.

Now select sector 2 and click on the active button next to alloys. Set the desired amount in the sector 50 more than the amount available to you. For example, if you have 10 alloys, keep the value 60. Shortly after you adjust the value, the game will immediately begin transferring 50 alloys to your Sector 2 stash.

Remember that in order to transfer items between two or more sectors, they must all be connected to their neighboring sectors over road.
