The new classes are relatively easy to unlock, although it will take some time. You can unlock Mage Cannoneer and Enchanter by completing the Fell Xenologue story DLC. This will take at least a couple of hours as the story DLC is six chapters long and can vary in length depending on your chosen difficulty and luck in completing these maps.

However, once you have the new classes, you can use them in the main game at your own discretion. Arriving back at the Somniel after completing the Fell Xenologue story DLC will grant you a set of items, some of which you need to become a Mage Cannoneer or an Enchanter.
