How to unlock the Aeturna mount in Final Fantasy XIV

Several new mounts were added to the game in Final Fantasy XIV Patch 6.35, including the Aeturna mount. This electric blue tiger is one of the most difficult mounts to get from the new patch, and it’s not immediately obvious how to get here. How to unlock the Aeturna mount in Final Fantasy XIV.

How to get the Aeturna mount in FFXIV

The Aeturna Mount is the reward for completing the new Eureka Orthos Deep Dungeon, not once, not twice, but four times in a row. If you have reached level 100 of Eureka Orthos four times, you have obtained the Enaretos Earrings, Enaretos Bracelet, Enaretos Ring and Enertos Necklace.

Return to Mor Dhona and while wearing all four of these Orthos accessories, speak to Koh Rabntah at X: 34.7, Y: 19.3. After a short dialogue, you will receive the achievement “Vintage Vogue”. Then go to your achievements page and get the Aeturna Horn as your prize. You can also equip the Sovereign Hero title after getting the achievement.

What is the Aeturna in FFXIV?

The Aeturna is a mythical flying tiger reportedly a mount of the Allagan Emperor Xande. This creature is described as possessing “remarkable vitality and has not only served as an armored warbeast, but has also been the subject of research into Allagian immortality.” Enjoy your immortal war tiger responsibly!
