Tonight, Instant Save is used for the first time this season

NBC’s The Voice season 22 live shows kicked off last night with 16 fabulous solo performances. Tonight viewers and participants will receive the results of this round’s voting. Voting ended early this morning and viewers will sadly have to say goodbye to three candidates on tonight’s live results show (November 15).

However, only two members of each team will survive the night based solely on viewer votes, so fans will need to tune in tonight for a chance to use instant save and save their favorite singers from being eliminated. Only the singers who survive tonight will perform on next Monday’s Top 13 live show.

Here’s everything you need to know about when and where to take advantage of tonight’s instant savings.

How does instant saving work?

During today’s live results show, host Carson Daly will share which eight candidates (two from each team) have been automatically selected to next week’s lineup. After that, each coach must decide which of his remaining two candidates to save, leaving one candidate from each team still at risk of being eliminated.

This is where instant storage comes into play. The four singers at risk will then each perform one more time on the live stage of The Voice. For three of them, this will be their final performance in the competition, as after all four have finished, the instant save voting will open. Fans have just five minutes to vote on which of these four contenders they want to place in the top 13, and the candidate who gets the most votes across all voting methods is safe.

What are these voting methods? Read how to use instant save below.

Where and when does instant save voting start?

Unlike last night’s vote “The Voice” Save immediately The voting window will only open for five minutes during tonight’s live show, which begins at 8:00 p.m. Eastern Time. So fans should have their preferred voting method ready if they want their voice heard. Fans can still vote even if they can’t watch the episode while it airs.

For fans watching live, the announcement will be made during the show and they will know when to log in Official “The Voice” app or to cast their vote. For those who can’t watch live, The Voice app can send a notification when the short voting period begins so no one misses their chance.

Note that this episode isn’t actually live until 8:00 p.m. in the Eastern time zone, so West Coast viewers may need to cast their vote before the episode airs in local time. Be sure to check local listings to ensure what time the episode airs for you.
