The Tampa Bay Rays are aiming for a fourth straight postseason appearance in 2022, but must first navigate an increasingly challenging AL East.

In 2022, most Rays games will be televised locally Bally Sports sunwhile others may be televised nationally MLB Network (these will also be on Bally Sports Sun), ESPN, ESPN2, Fox or Fox sport 1.

If you don’t have cable, here are a few different ways you can watch every Rays game live online in 2022, including options for in-market and out-of-market viewers:

If you are in the Radiation Market

DirectTV stream

This is the only streaming service to include Bally Sports Sun

Amazon Prime subscribers (Prime comes with a 30-day free trial) can watch any unmarketed, non-nationally televised MLB game through Prime Channels.

The MLB.TV channel costs either $24.99 per month to watch every out of print game (All Team Pass) or $109.99 per year to watch only out of Rays games (“Single Team Pass”) ), but each option comes with a free seven-day trial:

Ray’s 2022 season preview

Expectations are huge for the Rays in Tampa Bay this season. The Rays made the playoffs again last year after failing in the 2020 World Series. This year’s Rays are expected to compete again.

“I think we set the bar pretty high,” Rays manager Kevin Cash said, according to Fox 13’s Kevin O’Donnell. “We’re not necessarily playing for the regular season. To say that it’s quite spectacular how this team has played all season. It didn’t end the way we wanted, that’s for sure. I think a lot of people find the balance of not harboring it but having it as a subtle reminder when we get going here.

The Rays face another grueling AL East. Boston, New York, and Toronto all look like playoff teams. Tampa Bay won the division by a 100-62 mark last year but fell to the Boston Red Sox in the AL Division Series.

Rays outfielder Kevin Kiermaier believes the team can make another big run – maybe further.

“It’s going to be a hell of a year, have fun and we control our own destiny, so we’ll see what happens,” Kiermaier said, per O’Donnell. “I like our chances.”
