After a promising conclusion to the 2021 season, the Detroit Tigers are looking to continue making strides as AJ Hinch’s sophomore.

In 2022, most Tigers games will be televised locally Bally Sports Detroitwhile others may be televised nationally MLB Network (these will also be on Bally Sports Detroit), ESPN, ESPN2, Fox or Fox sport 1.

If you are in Tigers Market

DirectTV stream

This is the only streaming service that has Bally Sports Detroit

Tiger season preview 2022

Detroit heads into this season with confidence after playing 69-66 at the final stretch of the 2021 season. The Tigers have been mired in a rebuild since 2017, and this season’s team could take the next step and end an eight-year playoff drought.

Last season’s Tigers roster finished third in the American League Central Division by 77-85. The Tigers placed 11th in runs scored and ninth in ERA.

“We’ve laid a good foundation,” Tigers manager AJ Hinch said, according to Fox 17’s Brad Galli. “Now we have a lot to do to finish in a short amount of time. I think you take the good from last season, build on that for the people that were here, we’ve added some talent and we need to address some areas where we weren’t great, but go ahead.
