He replied, “Well, I told you I was going to do Doctor Doom,” to which Quivers said she “didn’t know” he was filming now.
The SiriusXM personality continued, “Believe me, I’m bloody miserable about this – I don’t even want to… because I’m an asshole.
He remarked, “I did that on America’s Got Talent,” in reference to his stint on the NBC talent show from 2012 to 2015.
Quiver replied, “That’s right,” and asked Stern if he was “excited” about the project.

The studio hasn’t announced any project, and it wasn’t immediately clear what role Stern would play if he were cast in it. News about the project could be announced at next month’s San Diego Comic-Con, where Marvel Studios is said to be attending.
If cast for the project, Stern would be the second personality from his radio show to appear in an MCU film, as its writer Richard Christy appeared in the 2017 hit Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.
A return to the big screen would come 25 years after Stern starred in the film Private Parts, which hit theaters in March 1997 when he starred himself.
The film, which also stars Quivers, Mary McCormack, Paul Giamatti, Fred Norris and Jackie Martling, grossed $41 million worldwide, according to Box Office Mojo.
