Hutchison is delighted with West Ham’s potential signing of a ‘very interesting’ player

Don Hutchison is delighted at the prospect of West Ham United signing Gianluca Scamacca from Sassuolo. as he posted on Twitter.

The former Hammer added that Scamacca is a “very interesting player” and someone who has “a lot of potential” in his locker.

Italian club Sassuolo believe Scamacca has played his last game for the club and is traveling to East London – the 23-year-old scored 16 Serie A goals last season.

If Scamacca signs on the dotted line for David Moyes’ side as expected, then he will be the club’s first striker this summer.

It’s a much-needed addition that Hutchison is looking forward to in the Claret & Blue colors of the Premier League.

Michail Antonio needs competition up front since Moyes put the tricky winger in the number 9 role.

If the Scamacca deal goes through, the Hammers don’t seem to stop there with the possibility of another forward being added.

There has been a lot of talk about Chelsea killer Armando Broja, will he come on permanently, on loan or will Thomas Tuchel even let him go this summer?

Well, it’s now been hinted that if Scamacca arrives, West Ham will only be looking for a loan deal for Broja – and in truth, Chelsea probably need the player more than the Hammers do, so it will be interesting when he lets loose this summer.
