Ian Wright expresses his frustration with Arsenal

Ian Wright has made it clear that players like Tottenham “are capable of scoring” while Arsenal have “not enough” goals.
As the north London duo were chasing Champions League football over the weekend, they crashed into a brick wall.
Spurs lost 1-0 to Brighton in Saturday’s early kick-off, Antonio Conte’s side failing to find a shot.

While Mikel Arteta and his players suffered a 1-0 defeat in Southampton, this time they failed to get the ball into the back net despite several good chances.
This was addressed by Wright, who expressed frustration at what he sees of his former side, as he told Premier League Productions (04/16/22 at 17:15).
“They needed a forward,” Wright said. “We don’t have that striker. Look at Tottenham, poor as they were (against Brighton) they are capable of scoring goals.
“People united. They have Cristiano Ronaldo so you would always support them to score. But Arsenal aren’t scoring enough goals at the moment.”
If both Arsenal and Tottenham don’t want to make it in this top four Premier League race, then others will.
Manchester United, who have had a worse season than these clubs, are lurking in the background and still have a huge opportunity.
What helps their cause is that everyone around that fourth place will be playing against each other in the coming weeks.
If all goes well for a team like Man United and Cristiano Ronaldo is ready to pull the trigger, then there’s no reason they can’t sneak in front of both London clubs.
