What was said about Jesus?

Wright spoke about the forward.

“A full performance, people will say it’s Watford and they’ll give you the time and space. That’s how Jesus plays, he’s everywhere, and wherever he goes, he knows exactly what he’s doing on that part of the field. He’s elite, another elite player, and he’s clutch too,” Wright said.

seal of approval

It seems Jesus has received the seal of approval from Ian Wright and that’s great news for Arsenal.

The Gunners are favorites to sign the Brazilian this summer, according to David Ornstein.

“As of today, Arsenal are the favorites to sign Gabriel Jesus but nothing is being done,” Ornstein told The Athletic Football Podcast.

The fact that Wright, Arsenal’s 2ndnd-the all-time top scorer, believes Jesus is an elite striker, tells you everything you need to know about his skills.

The Manchester City attacker has shown in spells that he is capable of being a top-flight Premier League striker but he’s never really had the platform to showcase his skills but that could change this summer should this one be changes come into play.

Whether or not Arsenal sign Jesus remains to be seen, but if they do we’re sure Wright will be over the moon.
