Meanwhile, LIC’s proportion of the number of shares also rose and fell during the third quarter of fiscal 23. LIC’s major additions during the December quarter of 2022 were IRCTC, Mphasis and Tech Mahindra, while holdings in Bharat Petroleum, Tata Chemicals and NTPC were reduced .
