If you are wondering if Kyle Crane is in Dying Light 2, the answer is no, but you has been referenced. In a nutshell, the developers of Dying Light 2 early in the game’s news cycle stated that none of the previous game’s characters would appear in Dying Light 2.

The reason is that Dying Light 2 is a completely new story from the perspective of new characters and follows a separate account with Dying Light 1. However, this does not mean that certain characters will not have their names removed or that certain events are referenced.
