The Kansas City Chief is conducting pre-assessment of the NFL Draft, including bringing in a passer from the rapidly growing Jackson State University.
According to the source, Kansas City brought in Jackson State defender James Houston this week.
Houston, a Florida native, began her college career as a freshman in red in Florida. After playing for the Gators from 2018-20, Houston moved to Jackson State, where NFL Hall of Fame linebacker Deion Sanders takes over as head coach in 2020.
During his lone season at Jackson State, Houston played 13 games, scoring 52 tackles, 24.5 tackles conceded, 16.5 tackles, 10 quarterbacks and 7 catches. fumbling, according to the team’s website.
