Jacqueline Laurita calls former RHONJ co-star ‘a dangerous person’

Real Housewives of New Jersey grad Jacqueline Laurita starred in several seasons of the Bravo franchise through 2017. Laurita opened up about her relationships with her former castmates in a February 2023 interview on the Two Ts In A Pod podcast.Hosted by Real Housewives of Orange County star Tamra Judge and Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alumna Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave.

For example, the mother-of-two revealed that she doesn’t trust her former girlfriend Danielle Staub. Laurita shared that she hasn’t interacted with Dust since the RHONJ season 2 reunion special. The 52-year-old claimed someone at a news outlet told her the ‘All My Children’ actress was ‘trying to sell this story [her].” Laurita also claimed that Staub “told lies [a social media user] around [her] daughter” Ashlee Holmes-Malleo, 31. She also claimed that her former RHONJ co-star encouraged the unnamed person to “attack [her] on social media.”

“I thought, ‘This is a dangerous person because they’re spreading all these lies and they’re spreading them like they’re truths. And they are not truths.’ This is a dangerous person for me and this is someone I never want in my life,” Laurita said.

According to page sixHolmes-Malleo “was found guilty of aggravated assault” after an interaction in which she “pulled Staub’s hair” after Staub had a heated argument with Teresa Giudice in RHONJ Season 2which premiered in 2010.

The publication reported Laurita explained why her daughter ended up initiating a physical altercation with the 60-year-old. The 52-year-old also appeared to be referring to Staub’s decision to sport Margaret Joseph’s ponytail She doused them with water in season 10 of RHONJ.

“Someone there told her that [Danielle Staub] Tell me. So if you hit someone who poured water on you, you would surely go after someone who hit your mother,” the mother-of-two explained.

Staub spoke about her friendship with Laurita while recording a June 2022 episode of the Reality With the King podcast by former RHONJ producer Carlos King. The RHONJ graduate explained she had a strong relationship with the mother-of-two until she wanted to remain in good standing with her sisters-in-law, Caroline Manzo and Dina Cantin, who feuded with Staub.

“We’re talking about someone I could take my kids to dinner and leave her on speakerphone around the house, when she gets home she’s still talking like I’m still there. We talked all day, every day,” said the reality TV personality.

Staub admitted that she hasn’t had a conversation with her former RHONJ co-star since reuniting in Season 2. She clarified that she wasn’t surprised when they became estranged.

“I knew we were already moving away from that friendship because I would never stand in the way of the family and I felt that she so desperately needed to be a part of that family,” said the former Bravo star.

Staub also claimed that she believes Laurita “was and still is a good person.”
