Jacqui Abbott completes the Irish leg of the Paul Heaton Tour
After hitting number one in October, Paul and Jacqui’s latest album, NK Pop, planned a highly anticipated arena tour with singer-songwriter Billy Bragg last year.
Jacqui and Paul wowed fans with their fabulous homecoming gig at Totally Wicked Stadium last summer but after just three gigs on the ‘NK Pop’ tour Jacqui had to pull out of Bridlington, Glasgow and Stockton shows on medical advice.
It was hoped Jacqui would rejoin the band later on in the tour, but following further medical checks the Sutton singer has pulled out of the remaining UK tour dates, including a grand performance at the Manchester Arena on Saturday 10th June . December.

In a statement on Twitter, Paul Heaton said: “We regret to inform you that following continued medical treatment, Jacqui has been advised that she must rest from singing for the next few weeks while her voice continues to recover.
