Jaylan Mobley has denied the ‘fake documents’ allegations made by his ex-fiancée, ‘Teen Mom’ star Leah Messer. Mobley surprised Messer while vacationing in Costa Rica with a piece of paper that said her name was on the $500,000 home he had bought, but the document turned out to be inauthentic.
Mobley claims he intended to put Messer’s name on the house, but couldn’t bring it to fruition. He didn’t say why, but The sun reports that Messer owes “more than $450,000 in unpaid taxes.”
“Ok…while I was in front of the camera, I made it seem like it was final because it was final to me,” Mobley said said about Messer’s name on the certificate. “I don’t make the final decision as the attorney responsible for recording the deed. It’s not my fault.”
When the scene first aired on Teen Mom, some fans thought it odd that Messer didn’t have to be present to put her name on the certificate. She doesn’t have to be present for me to add her,” Mobley claimed. “Am I wrong for trying?”
Mobley said it wasn’t his decision not to have Messer’s name on the house.
“If they had said ok, she would have been there” he continued. “They told me they wouldn’t include them in the act because of the liability and the risk…that still didn’t stop me from finding out, but I’m lying about it.” I tried and they told me no when we came back. You have evidence.”
Mobley claimed he was defamed. “Telling the world that I created a fake legal document when the legal system can prove that it hasn’t is character libel of the highest order.” he said.
In his own tweets, Messer accused Mobley of fabricating an “advertising stunt” in Costa Rica.
“It has nothing to do with WHY we broke up, but the crime scene was crap too,” Messer tweeted. “He made up a fake document to get my really happy reaction on camera and made me think I was on the document until we got home and I found out otherwise.” At the end of her post, she added, ” Publicity stunt” and “FOH” as hashtags.
Mobley admits he made a mistake filming with Messer’s stepdad
Messer was upset after Mobley proposed to her, telling her he had asked her stepfather, Gary Lee Miller, for permission. She said the only person he needed permission from was her three daughters, 12-year-old twins Ali and Aleeah and 9-year-old Addie.
“I only filmed once with her stepfather. No MTV was on the golf course… and I didn’t feel right to ask him on camera, but I said that on camera too and definitely not being in another episode. he tweetedciting Messer’s claims that Mobley staged the permission scene so he could appear in Teen Mom.
“You even said yourself that you overreacted, but now it’s completely my fault for trying to do something positive.” he continued. “I take full responsibility for the on-camera scene with him. That is what I said.”
Mobley claimed people were intimidated by his “potential.”
In his final messages, Mobley said he was focused on his future and that people were afraid of his potential.
“My vision goes so far beyond that. It’s beyond social media. It goes beyond being on TV. It’s more than shit that wasn’t promised.” he tweeted. “I’m focused on my future and how to show myself 100% in my life. I know my worth and sometimes it scares people when they know your potential.”
