Jenelle Evans suffers from ‘extreme’ symptoms

Evans spoke about the new symptoms she was experiencing in a TikTok video.

“Teen Mom 2” alum Jenelle Evans revealed that she was suffering from some “extreme” symptoms related to her chronic illness.

Evans disclosed E! Messages She was diagnosed with fibromyalgia on March 11, but now the North Carolina native revealed she may have another condition, myasthenia gravis — an achronic autoimmune condition that leads to it weakened skeletal muscles.

Evans, 30, announced she was hospitalized on March 25. At first, she didn’t give fans much information, just asking for prayers. In her TikTok video a few days later, she provided fans with more information.

The beginning of the video showed Evans suffering from pain. “Oh my god my chest hurts,” she captioned the video.

The mother-of-three revealed her new symptoms – like being unable to breathe when she woke up – which started two months ago. “I’ve been trying to relax and rest since this started,” Evans wrote.

“Extreme chest pain and difficulty breathing” brought Evans to the hospital.

“Recent blood tests showed two antibodies related to myasthenia gravis,” she said wrote in the TikTok video. “Had 2 EKGs, they pricked me 4 times for blood, 2 more for IVs, chest X-ray, CT scan. My blood clotting test was high but they said the pictures looked ok. Rest now, but contact a neurologist as soon as possible.

Evans has trouble walking

While the former ‘Teen Mom 2’ star has been struggling with her health, Evans revealed that she’s starting to feel pain in her legs when she walks.

Evans made the disclosure when a fan suspected her weight might be to blame. “I’m not trying to be rude, but sometimes weight gain does that. It happened to a friend,” the person wrote in the comment section under Evans TikTok video.

“I can barely walk 5 feet without my legs burning like I’m doing squats, but I’ve been trying to walk on my land lately.” She answered.

“Okay, but wait, do you have myasthenia?! I have this autoimmune disease 😳”, another person wrote.

“I’m waiting for an official diagnosis from my neurologist, but my pulmonologist said he thinks I have it and wants me to have lung tests every few months.” Evans replied.

Evans said she fights ‘every day’

According to her interview with E! News from March 11th, Evans has been battling her condition for years.

“Living every day is challenging because I don’t have much energy to do my job [having] going to bed early because of a headache or aching limbs,” she said E! Messages.

“For as long as I can remember I’ve had extremely severe tension headaches and body aches – like I have the flu but I’m not sick.” Evans continued. “My whole body is in such pain and sometimes I lie in bed and cry. [For] For a long time nobody believed my symptoms until recently I got a second opinion from a new neurologist.”

Evans is the mother of three children: Jace (12), Kaiser (7) and Ensley (5).

She has been married to her husband David Eason since September 2017.
