Jennifer Lopez is open about the message her husband Ben Affleck engraved on the green diamond sparkler he’s giving her as an engagement ring: “No. Walk. Somewhere.’

Lopez, 53, said in an interview with Apple Music One’s Zane Lowe published Monday that Affleck, 50, began using the phrase after they rekindled their romance.

“That’s how he signed his emails when we started talking again,” Lopez said. ‘For example: ‘Don’t worry, I’m not going anywhere.’

The A-list couple are more than three months away from their August 20 wedding at Affleck’s estate outside of Savannah, Georgia, which took place more than a month after their July 16 vows in Las Vegas.

Lopez said her romance with Affleck is “a lot clearer” than it was in the early 2000s.

“Now we know and there are no questions,” Lopez said. “It’s me and you, all the way, to the end.”

Lopez said her rekindled romance with Affleck influenced some of her work on her new album This Is Me…Now, which includes a track called “Not.” Walk. Somewhere.’

She said in the interview, “This is how he would sign his emails if we started talking again,” Lopez said. ‘For example: ‘Don’t worry, I’m not going anywhere.’

Lopez said she was “blessed” that she and the actor resumed their romance in 2021 after a painful split in 2004.

“It was the biggest heartbreak of my life and I honestly thought I was going to die,” Lopez said. “It sent me into a spiral for the next 18 years where I just couldn’t get it right. But now, 20 years later, it has a happy ending.”

She added: “You can get a second chance if you do the work and don’t give up. As an artist, the only reason I’m here is to share what I know, what I’ve learned, and what I’m going through.”

Affleck is a father of three with ex-wife Jennifer Garner, 50 – daughters Violet, 16, and Seraphina, 13, and son Samuel, 10. Lopez is mother to twins Emme and Maximilian, 14, with ex-husband Marc Anthony, 54 All the children were at the wedding.

Lopez said that amid the “separate paths” she and the Argo star took after their 2004 split, they both “did beautiful things and we had these amazing kids.”

She added, “Once we became complete enough, were complete enough, loved ourselves enough, and were truly fully able to stand on our own two feet, as the universe wanted, we were bought back into each other’s lives. It was like a crack in the clouds and the sun came through.’
