Jenny Marrs had a rather miraculous birthday on January 24th, 2023 and literally started her day with the miracle of birth on her family farm. The HGTV host shared her day of sweet celebrations with fans on Instagram, including the surprise arrival of twin lambs. Jenny’s 44th birthday also included her husband and Fixer to Fabulous co-star Dave Marrs paying tribute to her in a touching post, receiving a giant birthday sign from their kids and celebrating a night out with friends. Here’s a glimpse into her special day.

Jenny Marrs is now sharing her birthday with two cute lambs

Jenny is used to the unexpected on her family’s farm in Bentonville, Arkansas, but even she was surprised by the punctual arrival of two baby lambs for her birthday. In an Instagram post This Morning, she wrote that she went to bed and prayed for a friend who had suffered a profound loss but woke up to “new life here on the farm.”

She wrote: “Sadness and joy. mourning and celebration. Every year on this earth is a precious, fragile gift and I am infinitely grateful for the extraordinary, everyday, often confusing, but breathtakingly beautiful dance of life.”

The mother-of-five shared a video of her day, in which she received a table-length, handmade birthday sign from her children and spent a chilly morning out in the pasture – in her bathrobe and slippers – while two newborn lambs surveyed the world around her discovered. Jenny and Dave later brought the sheep and newborn twins into the barn and later let their children tend the lambs adorable pictures and videos uploaded to Jenny’s Instagram Stories.

Jenny said that although her family hadn’t named the babies yet, her daughter Charlotte “declared that one must be named Jenny in honor of our birthday together.”

On Jenny’s Instagram Stories, she also shared photos from a Pilates class with girlfriends and a big dinner with friends at a local restaurant Table at the Hickory Inn. Their videos ended with light snowfall – a rarity in Arkansas – and the news that today will be a snow day for their children and local schools will be closed due to the snowfall. AccuWeather forecast three to six inches of snow in Bentonville overnight.

A host of other HGTV stars left birthday wishes for Jenny in their Instagram comments, including Bargain Block’s Keith Bynum, Married to Real Estate’s Mike Jackson and Egypt Sherrod, 100 Day Dream Home’s Brian Kleinschmidt, 100 Day Dream Home’s Anthony Elle Luxe for Less and designer Mary Tjon Joe Pin, who played a major role in filming the upcoming Home Town Takeover with the Marrs.

Dave Marrs pays tribute to his wife: ‘Never looked better’

according to a wedding album on HGTV’s website, The Marrs wed in April 2005. Dave wrote a sweet Instagram tribute to his wife on her birthday with a photo of her holding one of the newborn lambs and wrote that “she never looked better”.

“God knows what a shepherd Jenny is and put her twins in foster care the day before we are supposed to have the biggest snowstorm of the year,” he wrote. “He knew they would be placed in wonderful, caring hands. He also knows what the best possible gift she could get is and gave it to her.”

“Well, on this freezing cold day, Jenny is really going to be celebrating her birthday here,” he continued. “It started in a robe and will end in a snowsuit and the smile will never leave her beautiful face.”

In response, Jenny wrote: “Awwww love you baby! Thanks for helping me get the barn ready for the new babies!!! What a morning!”

In May 2022, the Marrs greeted another little lamb to her farm and named her Daisy after many fans sent in ideas. In a post about their latest addition, Marrs said they also welcomed six more lambs to the family in the first five months of the year: Cookie and Icicle, Elmo and Tator Tot, and Charli and Olive.
