Joe Amabile and Serena Pitt are on the move. The “Bachelor in Paradise” couple, who got engaged on the season 7 finale of the ABC reality show last summer, have been working long distances for a while. Joe lives in Chicago, while Serena is from Toronto, Canada.

The two toyed with the idea of ​​living together in several different cities. “We’re going to New York next week and we’re planning on signing a lease,” he told the outlet. “That’s the plan. I think [in] Brooklyn. ”

“We wanted something a little more casual in New York,” he explains. “We went back and forth dividing our time between Chicago and Toronto and commuting became exhausting. I think Serena actually lived in a suitcase for eight months. So to find somewhere for each other that we both remain close to family and long for, that’s how we came up with it.”

Joe and Serena were one of three couples who got engaged on the finale of “The Bachelor in Paradise,” which was filmed last summer in Mexico. While Maurissa Gunn and Riley ended their engagement in January, engaged couple Mari Pepin and Kenny Braasch are continuing to go strong. As for Joe and Serena, they’ve narrowed their wedding year by a year.
