Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner’s nasty divorce will likely drag on for “years”! And “The children will suffer”?!

The drama increased on Thursday as the game of Thrones Star sued Joe and claimed Jonas Brothers The singer stopped the estranged couple’s two children from going “home” to England with her. The 34-year-old singer denied these claims, but the damage was done. And now legal experts fear things will get even worse Away worse.

Speak with Page sixfamous New York litigator Aaron Richard Golub expressed concern that Joe and Sophie could face “a long court battle.” Golub is not representing either party in their ongoing litigation; has represented major industry players in cases including Gisele Bündchen, Martin ScorseseAnd Brooke Shields. So he knows how A-listers operate. And he says this lawsuit could be HUGE!!

Referring to Joe and Sophie’s two young children, Golub told the outlet on Thursday:

“The fight will swing like a pendulum. … It will continue to appeal for years and the children will suffer.”

Among the problems is the fact that there are three different jurisdictions at play here – England, New York and Florida – within the legal systems of two different nations. This could quickly become chaotic. And at least one other high-profile divorce lawyer agrees with Golub’s assessment. Divorce lawyer Val Kleyman I also spoke to Page six on Thursday. And while he doesn’t represent Joe or Sophie, he worries about how ugly things could get:

“It gets complicated because ultimately one of the parties [Sophie or Joe] They have to give in as to where the children will live or the court will have to make a decision.”

So basically this separation still has a LONG way to go…
