The Pirates of the Caribbean The actor turned 60 on Friday, and a source has come out to share how he’s feeling a year after his ex-wife’s controversial defamation trial. And? Accordingly People On Friday, the insider revealed that he’s “moved on from last year and is happy.”

Johnny not only celebrates his milestone birthday, but also has a lot to do professionally. Almost a month ago he performed at the Cannes Film Festival for his French film Jeanne DuBarry. He is currently working on the Al Pacino-produced film modes – with whom he will one day lead his tour The Hollywood Vampires is over. The People A source noted that he’s enjoying being “an artist” again:
“Over the last year he has been able to touch all of these different areas of his life that he has not been able to do as often before because he has been so busy dealing with the issues surrounding the Amber trial. For him it is nice to be an artist first.”
Basically, it sounds like Johnny’s gotten his career back on track. Another insider previously told the outlet that he’s doing “amazing” at the moment, saying:
“He’s really enjoying working and touring again. He managed to change his life. He values his health and his work. He led a destructive life and those close to him were concerned. Everyone is amazed at how he turned things around.”
