Jonathan Scott and Zooey Deschanel throw it back to the 1970s in the latest installment of Trixie Motel. The series follows drag queen Trixie Mattel as she renovates a mid-century motel in Palm Springs, California into “the gayest, most iconic motel ever.” discovery announced.

In the episode, Scott greets Mattel and Silver with open arms at the Brady House door. In a 1970s-inspired outfit, Scott jokingly responds to being called Mr. Brady by saying, “I had some work done.”

Mattel couldn’t contain her excitement, telling Silver in a confessional, “The Brady House, David, that’s literally the nicest thing you’ve ever done.”

He replies, “I literally bought you a motel and named it after you.” Although Mattel insists, “That’s much better.”

She continued, “I met Oprah at lunch one time and felt nothing. I went to the Brady House and felt like I saw the eyes of God.”

Deschanel was “amazed” by Mattel.

Scott adds to the surprise and reveals his girlfriend as an actress. He explained, “When I told Zooey that we were showing Trixie and David around the Brady house, she freaked out.”

The ‘New Girl’ actress insisted on attending. She called Mattel “amazing” and explained, “To see all the creativity that goes into the makeup, hair and outfit.”

Silver told the other couple, “There’s a flower power room in the motel that’s very ’60s and ’70s inspired. One of the direct references was the Brady girls bedroom.”

“I spent so much time in the Brady girls’ bedroom because of the TV,” Mattel later added. “But it’s very inspiring to be able to be in here and soak up the details in person.”
