A Dancing With the Stars mirrorball champion returns to Broadway.

Dancing With the Stars winner Jordan Fisher will return to Broadway in the upcoming revival of the show Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street.

The multi-talented star joins previously announced cast members Josh Groban as Sweeney Todd and Annaleigh Ashford as Mrs Lovett. by appointment. Stranger Things star Gaten Matarazzo and The King and I actress Ruthie Ann Miles will also join the cast.

The show’s performances are scheduled to begin on February 26 and will officially open on March 26, 2023 at Broadway’s Lunt-Fontanne Theater.

Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street won eight Tony Awards in 1980, including Best Director, Best Original Score, Best Musical and Best Book. The show is about a previously imprisoned man who returns to London in search of his long-lost family, including his daughter Johanna. In doing so, he teams up with Mrs. Lovett at her meat shop, which happens to be under his former hairdresser’s. It gets bloodier and bloodier from there.

Fisher previously told Heavy that his favorite memory from his time on Dancing With the Stars was winning the show.
