Julia Fox’s father and brother are arrested after a 6am police raid

Julia Fox’s father and brother were arrested Wednesday after police officers found a litany of troubling objects in their Manhattan apartment.

An early-morning raid found Christopher and Thomas Fox with ghost weapons, bomb-making materials and evidence of narcotics manufacture, law enforcement officials told the New York Post.

Investigators also discovered 3D printers at the property, which they believe are being used to create ghost weapons — firearms with no traceable serial numbers.

Also reportedly were unidentified pills, a pill press, fentanyl, pressure cookers, chloroform, heroin, propane, explosives and formaldehyde.

Police rushed into the couple’s 86th Street home at 6 a.m. Wednesday

Both relatives of the actress, best known for her starring role in Uncut Gems, have been taken into custody after being arrested at her home on 84th Street.

Her arrest reportedly came as part of a larger NYPD investigation into the spread of ghost guns in the Big Apple.

The raid, which took place at 6 a.m., was carried out by a large intelligence team.

An NYPD spokesman said: “The NYPD Ghost Gun Team seized several Ghost Gun parts as well as narcotic pill pressing equipment.

“Team members also discovered materials typically used as components in explosives, including pressure cookers and various chemicals that can also be used to create narcotics.”

While a number of worrying items have been discovered in the home, including bomb-making materials, authorities say they don’t believe there is a threat to the public.

“At this point, it is believed that matters are contained and there is no apparent link to terrorism,” the spokesman added.

“The NYPD will continue to fight relentlessly against illegal guns – both against the steady proliferation of traditionally manufactured firearms and the increasingly prevalent number of illegal, untraceable but fully functional guns known as ghost guns.”

According to reports, neither Christopher nor Thomas Fox have a criminal history.

However, a law enforcement source added to the Post that the duo have a “disproportionate amount of stuff” in their possession.

The pair were put on law enforcement’s radar after they received a tip when suspicious online purchases were sent to their Manhattan apartment.

In a 2019 interview with High Snobiety, Julia said she doesn’t see her father or brother often.

She described her brother as a “mad scientist” who “builds 3D printers for fun.”
