Thiago injury update ahead of Liverpool vs Real Madrid

BBC Sport quotes Klopp on Thiago: “I think he will leave the final but I don’t know. He’s limping, so maybe that’s not the best sign.”

Big hit

The possibility of Thiago not playing for Liverpool against Real Madrid in the Champions League final this season is a huge blow to the Reds in our view.

Thiago is one of the best midfielders in the world who can dominate events in the middle of the park.

The former Barcelona and Bayern Munich star is a very cultured midfielder and Liverpool need someone like him against the Madrid midfield of Toni Kroos, Luka Modric and Casemiro.

After all, we know how good Madrid are and how they beat Paris Saint-Germain, Chelsea and Manchester City en route to the Champions League final.
