Jurgen Klopp has some bad news for Liverpool supporters

Talking to Official website of the club Liverpool, Jurgen Klopp gave Divock Origi’s fitness update ahead of the game against the Reds Newcastle.

Origi suffered a problem last week, meaning he had to miss the Merseyside club’s win over Aston Villa over the weekend and sadly, it looks like he will also be unable to play with Magpies.

Indeed, Klopp has named Origi among the players who will miss this game, claiming he has problems ahead of this match.

What does Klopp say about Origi?

Klopp has issued an update, and it contains some bad news about Origi.

“That obviously puts Harvey on a long break and Divock has a bit of a problem, and Adrian obviously does. So the rest should be fine,” said Klopp.

Bad times

This is bad news for Liverpool simply because of the timing of this injury.

Origi is indeed threatening to become an important member of the Liverpool team in the coming months. He has scored winning goals against both Wolves and AC Milan in recent weeks, but now it looks like all the wind has gone out of his sails.

Origi could be hard-pressed to come by now – especially after Klopp announced that Roberto Firmino would be back playing against Newcastle.

We can only hope that Origi can pick up where he left off when he returns.
