Last night Sadio Mané and Mohamed Salah were involved in another massive game between Senegal and Egypt.

Once again, Mané emerged victorious as he helped defeat his Liverpool team-mate on penalties to propel Senegal into the World Cup.

Whilst Jurgen Klopp will certainly be delighted with Liverpool’s No10, we have a feeling he will also be over the moon with what Curtis Jones is up to.

What’s the matter?

Now the £47,000 per week Mann played for England Under-21s when they beat Albania Under-21s by three goals to zero.

After Arsenal’s Folarin Balogun opened the scoring, Jones added a second with an excellent goal.

The 21-year-old sprinted towards Sergio Kalaj, who had just received the ball deep in his own half before stealing possession from him.

Kalaj was last man so Jones then had a free run to goal which he took full advantage of and got a cool finish over Simon Simoni.

You can see the moment of brilliance below.

It might not seem like much but Klopp is always urging his players to press hard and win the ball in dangerous areas so the German will be overjoyed at what Jones has done.

Liverpool need to trust Curtis Jones

In our view, Klopp should give Jones more responsibility at Anfield.

Liverpool No.17 just made it seven The Premier League starts this season, and now there is talk of Klopp being personally involved in a move for Jude Bellingham (picture).

While a move for the Borussia Dortmund jewel would be wise, it would hopefully not limit Jones, who has a real future under Klopp.

In our view, the Reds Academy graduate is a perfect Klopp player as he combines quality in the last third with aggressive pressing in midfield.

At the age of 21, he is already an excellent footballer. So if Klopp stays with him, Jones could easily become a key player in the future.

In other news, a £6million player could explode at Arsenal very soon – in our view
