Justin Edison, who worked as a bodyguard for Megan Thee Stallion, could go missing in the middle of a major court case.

First, TMZ reported that Edison, who has been described as a “key figure in Tory Lanez’s trial,” went missing on December 17, 2022. The entertainment site then followed up on that report by revealing that the Los Angeles Police Department did not open a missing persons case for Edison.

Edison’s Instagram page refers to him as a “Close Protection Specialist. Licensed/Armed EP. MDS Level 1 Instructor.”

The Shade Room described him as Megan Thee Stallion’s former bodyguard.

Here’s what you need to know:

Megan Thee Stallion’s attorney said Edison was “missing”.

TMZ quoted Megan Thee Stallion’s attorney, Alex Spiro, as saying Edison had disappeared: “We recently learned that Justin Edison went missing just before he was due to appear in court. The LAPD is currently investigating his disappearance and welcomes any information as to his whereabouts.”

Although the LAPD does not have a formal missing person report open, TMZ reported that it’s possible that “his alleged disappearance simply hasn’t reached the level at which police are required to classify him as such.”

ABC7 reports that the police were looking for Edison, although that report was based on the attorney’s quote.

Heavy has contacted the LAPD press office for more details.
Edison’s Instagram page is full of pictures of him training and traveling overseas.

He posted about it Megan Thee Stallion on his side.

Edison’s last post on Instagram came December 2, 2022, and it read: “Closing the year of protecting customers over the next few weeks of the World Cup. Another country stamp, God is good #blessed.”

Lanez is accused of shooting Megan Thee Stallion in the feet

Who is Tory Lanez? According to ABC7, he is accused of shooting Megan Thee Stallion “in the feet” after leaving a party at Kylie Jenner’s house in 2020.

The TV station reported Lanez has pleaded not guilty to multiple firearms charges.

The trial is underway, the testimony of the rapper’s assistant has already been completed. Lanez’s real name is Daystar Peterson, ABC7 reported, and if convicted, he faces deportation to Canada and more than two decades in prison. So there is a lot at stake for him.

According to the shadow room “Another source confirmed that Justin’s attorney has not heard from him since Thursday. We’re also told that Justin may have information about the night of the shooting, although he wasn’t there.”

Edison released a statement on Instagram after the shooting, according to the Shade Room:

If you know me and you know her well enough, not only do you know that I wasn’t physically present at the time [the] events, but you know why. If you don’t know me or her well enough, she’s good. I’m here now, and she’ll never set foot outside without me and a few idiots who don’t aim for present feet.
