Kanye West Resumes Political Ambitions and Vows to CURE Cancer

Kanye West said he’s open to a return to politics, stressing that his failed presidential bid in 2020 didn’t deter him.

The rapper, whose father battled stomach cancer in 2018, said he intends to work to cure the disease.

He said he will work to promote “fresh air and food.”

In October 2018, West said his father Ray’s cancer was in remission and that he had gone on an odd diet to celebrate.

“Get over the fear,” Kanye commented on an Instagram photo showing the bugs. “My dad and I are going to eat this plate of bugs to celebrate he beat cancer. No fear anymore.’

He discussed his co-parenting with ex-wife Kim Kardashian in the wide-ranging interview, saying they had clashed over certain issues but worked to resolve them.

When asked Thursday if he had any future political ambitions, West replied: “Yes, absolutely.

“You know, that time wasn’t in God’s time. I’m sure there are lives saved.

“I’m sure God made me fall on the sword and say this is not the time,” he told ABC News Thursday night.

“But he is a savior. He gave me that oxygen, he gave me that platform, he put amazing people around me.

“He gave me new goals. A new way of life. New air to breathe. And a new respect.’

He added that he spends time with Jared Kushner.

“His brother said he would kill him if he came back to the White House. That’s the answer,” West replied when asked if this was a real friendship or a political move.

West said he met Miami Mayor Francis Suarez and thought “he’d make a really good president, too.”

Linsey Davis asked: “In addition to you?”

replied West with a smile.

Davis asked him if he thought social media was helpful or harmful to him.

“That’s one of my favorite questions of this interview,” West said.

“We can use a car to take someone to the hospital. Or we could be using a car and accidentally hit someone while taking someone to the hospital.

“It’s all about how we use it.”
