Katie Maloney Blames ‘Vanderpump Rules’ Co-Star For Hookup

Katie Maloney has blamed her ‘Vanderpump Rules’ co-star for the fling between her future ex-husband and friend Raquel Leviss.

According to page sixSpeaking to a source, Maloney Scheana blames Shay for Tom Schwartz and Leviss making out.

“Raquel and Schwartz 100 percent met during Scheana’s wedding,” a production source told Page Six. “Katie is mad at Scheana because she thinks Scheana is responsible for Raquel and Schwartz being together.”

This is likely why the two women unfollowed each other on Instagram and why Maloney wasn’t at the Mexico wedding. despite traveling abroad anyway.

The source stated that Maloney felt that while both Leviss and Schwartz had “passive” personalities, Shay had “pushed them together.”

“So who would make the first move?” the source told the outlet. “Katie believes Scheana’s encouragement gave Raquel and Schwartz the green light to investigate a connection.”

Maloney and Schwartz announced that they were Separation after 12 years together March 19 but have stayed close and even often post photos hanging out together.

“She’s just annoyed because he decided to meet up with a girl in her circle of friends,” the source told the outlet. “She blames Scheana.”

The source says it was actually Maloney who started it all.

“She planted the seed,” the source told the outlet. “Katie originally published the idea. She told Scheana, “They would be really cute together.” Scheana later simply passed the message on to Raquel: ‘Katie thinks you and Schwartz would make a really good couple and gave her her blessing.'”

An old podcast episode between Shay and Schwartz resurfaced when the rumors reached the public, revealing a conversation Schwartz had with Shay about Leviss.

“I was so caught up in my own little world and married – I never took the time to meet Raquel,” Schwartz Shay continued Scheananigans with Scheana Shay Podcast. “She was always cool. I just never really took [the] time to invest in them. That’s a horrible way to put it. I never really gave her a chance,” he continued. “She has so much depth and character. I think I wrote them off.”

Brock Davies says Maloney was “disinvited” from the wedding, Maloney denies that claim

Brock Davis, Scheana Shay’s new husband, took to Instagram comments to respond to a fan who commented that Maloney didn’t go to the wedding.

“She got dumped and still rocked out for a ‘girls outing,'” he wrote on the post which ran a headline that Maloney yelled at Schwartz after catching him making out.

Maloney also responded by writing, “I enjoy all the untruths.” She also added a popcorn emoji.

Before the wedding, Leviss told Page Six that she felt her friend group was put in an awkward position following the couple’s split.

“I feel like Tom and Katie, they’re expecting [people to pick] Pages, unfortunately,” Leviss told Page Six in May. “It has [changed the dynamic]. At least it seems so – although I am friends with both of them.”
