Katy Perry said she found out ‘the real truth’ about ex Russell Brand years before sexual harassment allegations were made!

By now you’ve most likely heard that multiple women have come forward to accuse the 48-year-old comedian of rape, sexual assault and emotional abuse in a wide-ranging expose The Sunday Times And Channel 4‘S broadcasts. The alleged assaults occurred between 2006 and 2013 – including the time when Katy and Russell were together.

As you may recall, the two got married on October 23, 2010 in India. However, Russell and Katy divorced 14 months later after she received a breakup text from him shortly before she was due to go on stage for a show. But since the allegations against Russell came to light, some very shocking and cryptic comments have resurfaced from the 38-year-old pop star, in which she claimed to have found out some information about him following their breakup.
In an interview with Fashion Back in 2013, Katy spoke about her marriage to Forgot Sarah Marshall Star said he seemed so “magical” that it was easy for her to fall in love at first. However, things changed when he became “controlling.” She explained to the outlet at the time:
“When I met him, at first he wanted to have someone on an equal level, and I think strong men often want someone on an equal level, but then they get the equality and they’re like, ‘I can’t handle the equality.'” He liked the atmosphere not where I was the boss on tour. It was really hurtful and very controlling, which was annoying.”
Katy shared that she initially felt responsible for the breakup, but then found out “the real truth” about the Rock of Ages actor:
“I felt very responsible for it ending, but then I found out the real truth, which I can’t necessarily reveal because I keep it locked in my safe for a rainy day. I let go and thought: It’s not me; That’s a mystery to me. So I left that behind.”
Wow, what?!
Now this one American idol The judge never revealed what “truth” she was implying in the interview. However, many fans are wondering what Katy might have known. Has she discovered information about Russell’s past? Was she aware of these new allegations at the time? Or is this secret about something completely different?
