Kellyanne Conway put on a brave face on Sunday as she was seen leaving her home for the first time since announcing her divorce from her husband, 22.

Photographers from DailyMail.com caught the former White House aide waving and smiling to reporters as she exited her home in Alpine, New Jersey on Sunday.

Kellyanne, 56, wore a markedly different facial expression to her soon-to-be ex-husband George, 59, who looked distressed without his wedding ring on Saturday.

She appeared happy and carefree as she approached her car in a green dress with matching earrings, accompanied by her eldest daughter Claudia. She was even still smiling as she got into her blue sedan.

Kellyanne’s four children have remained noticeably silent since their parents’ divorce was announced on Friday, save for a tweet from Claudia, who wrote: “You all need to shut up [for real].’

The Conways announced Friday they had filed for divorce after 22 years of marriage after admitting George’s criticism of former President Donald Trump was a betrayal.

In a statement posted to their respective Twitter pages, the couple said: “We are in the final stages of an amicable divorce.

“We married more than two decades ago, cherish the many happy years (and four corgis) we shared, and most importantly, our four incredible children who remain the heartbeat of our family and our number one priority.”

They asked the public to “kindly respect our privacy” and noted that they “remain united as parents in offering love, joy, comfort and protection to our beautiful children.”

Kellyanne and George married in 2001 and had three children alongside their social media influencer daughter Vanessa, Charlotte and George. The two have both hired divorce attorneys and are working to split their assets, Page Six reported.

The Conways own several lots in addition to their 3,000-square-foot home in the Garden State. They own an $8 million home in Washington DC and a beach house on the Jersey Shore.

The couple announced they are going their separate ways after years of speculating if they even like each other, according to Page Six.

George has been one of Donald Trump’s biggest critics, publicly mocking the President on Twitter while he was employing his wife.

He even went on to berate the former president on Saturday after posting on Truth Social, “Congratulations to Kellyanne Conway on her DIVORCE from her crazy husband, Mr. Kellyanne Conway.”

“Finally free, finally she got rid of the disgusting albatross around her neck. She’s a great person and will now be free to live the life she deserves…and it’s going to be a great life without the utterly unattractive loser by her side!’

Conway responded by saying, “I look forward to seeing you at the E. Jean trial in New York next month! Hugs and Kisses.’

Trump will face a civil trial in April stemming from a former columnist’s allegation that he raped her in a department store fitting room in the mid-1990s.

While she worked endlessly for the president, her husband — who co-founded the Lincoln Project, which worked to prevent Trump’s re-election — has blasted the president on social media.

It appears the divorce hasn’t curbed his criticism, as he actively blasted the former leader on Twitter on Friday, including retweeting a post questioning the president’s sanity.

Her political rift was addressed in Kellyanne’s 2022 memoir Here’s the Deal, where she revealed she viewed his criticism as a betrayal of their marriage. She considered his tweets “cheating,” and it emerged Trump’s daughter Ivanka had suggested the couple seek therapy.

Trump himself once even called George a “stone cold LOSER & husband from Hell”.

Another blow to the family picture came in 2020 after her teenage daughter Claudia criticized her mother and Trump.

Kellyanne announced in August 2020 that she would be leaving the White House the day after the 15-year-old said in a series of tweets she was “officially pushing for emancipation” from her parents.

Kellyanne said she was leaving for the sake of her family to be “less drama, more mom.”

George also stepped down from his role with the Lincoln Project and took a brief hiatus from Twitter to focus on family.

In a statement at the time, Kellyanne called her time in the Trump administration “exhilarating” and “humiliating” and said she and George would make the decision based on what they believe is best for their four children.

“We disagree about a lot,” she wrote of her and her husband, “but we agree on what matters most: the kids.

“Our four children are teenagers and tweens starting a new year of middle and high school, conducted from home for at least a few months. As millions of parents across the country know, home-schooling children require a level of attention and vigilance as unusual as these times are.

Conway continued, “This is entirely my choice and my vote. In due course I will announce future plans. For now, and for my beloved children, it will be less drama, more mommy.”

Claudia previously took to TikTok and explained that her parents were going through a divorce but called it off “to keep her from emancipating herself.”

She accused her father in the video of not caring for her and not knowing her middle name, and said her mother had been physically abusive throughout her life.

That drama played out on Claudia’s TikToks when the now 18-year-old posted a video in October 2020 publicly accusing her mother of hiding her COVID-19 diagnosis and saying that Trump is worse than she claims .

Claudia later posted to the site to ‘clarify’ her claim her mum ‘lied’ about her test result – but the couple argued in the video, as Kellyanne accused her daughter of ‘lying about your frigging mum’.
