Rise’s third annual NYFW Survivor Fashion Show

On Monday, Rise hosted its third annual NYFW Survivor Fashion Show. Notable attendees included Moira Forbes, AnnaSophia Robb, Chloe Flower and MSNBC correspondent Katie Phang joining other survivors and allies down the runway in top designer labels. This year’s show also advocated for a multilateral treaty between states from all five UN global regional groups that protects survivors over abusers, the next phase of Rise’s efforts to advocate for sexual assault survivors worldwide.

Watch Hunger Stop 10th anniversary

Michael Kors and Cindy McCain hosted an intimate reception in NYC on Monday to honor the 10^th anniversary of Watch Hunger Stop, Kors’ hunger-fighting initiative in support of the World Food Programme. Peacock held a special screening in Los Angeles on Wednesday for its upcoming series The Continental: From the World of John Wick, the prequel to the John Wick film franchise, with its producers and executive team.

Amazon Studios hosted a LA special screening of A Million Miles Away at The Culver Theater on Wednesday, with director Alejandra Márquez Abella and astronaut José Hernández.

SIMKHAI celebrated New York Fashion Week with an intimate cocktail on Wednesday hosted by Jonathan Simkhai at The Ned NoMad. The evening featured DJ sets from duo Lumia Nocito and Nick Hadad with guests including Lukita Maxwell, Dascha Polanco, Sir John, Tinx, Davis Burleson and Emira D’Spain.

Stop Making Sense special screening

Talking Heads members David Byrne, Tina Weymouth, Chris Frantz and Jerry Harrison celebrated their concert movie at a special screening at the BAM Harvey Theater on Wednesday.

Dreamfest

The Foo Fighters headlined Dreamfest – a concert benefitting UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospitals, presented by Salesforce in conjunction with its annual Dreamforce conference – on Wednesday at Chase Center in San Francisco. Before the concert, Matthew McConaughey and Golden State Warrior Andre Iguodala presented the 2023 Colin Powell Medal of Courage Award to 22-year-old UCSF patient Selah Kitchiner.
