Kim Kardashian Debates Oscar vs. Baby in ‘American Horror Story: Delicate’ Trailer (Video)
The first trailer for American Horror Story: Delicate is here and Kim Kardashian wants to know which is more important: an Oscar or a baby?
“Do you want an Oscar? Do you want it as bad as a baby?” Kardashian’s Siobhan Walsh asks Emma Roberts’ Anna Victoria Alcott.
Although several disturbing and stylized teasers have already been released for Season 12 of American Horror Story, this clip offers a first glimpse of what this new season is all about. Based on Danielle Valentine’s book Delicate Condition and show direction by playwright Halley Feiffer (I’m Gonna Pray for You So Hard), fans already knew this season would be about a Hollywood star desperate for a child . But as she continues down the path to motherhood, she begins to believe that several people are trying to stop her from having this child, including her own husband.
In this first trailer, which you can see above, Kardashian appears several times at Roberts’ side. At one point, her character, Anna von Roberts, reassures, “You’re an A-list star now. Focus on the good.” She also accuses Anna of having a “peculiar pension because it turns dreams into nightmares.”
For now, at least, it seems that Kardashian’s Siobhan is a friendly face in the upcoming season. However, it’s unclear how long that will last as she caresses Robert’s face, sings her spooky lullaby and is flanked by the likes of Billie Lourd and Leslie Grossman.
The same cannot be said of Cara Delevingne’s Meg, who is the other big name this time. The model and actor only appear in one scene as a medic who doesn’t let Anna see her sonogram. Delevingne’s dry “One Moment” is one of the scarier bits in this first trailer.
In addition to this main trio, American Horror Story: Delicate also stars AHS graduate Billie Lourd, Denis O’Hare, Leslie Grossman and Zachary Quinto. It also stars Matt Czuchry (The Good Wife), Michaela Jaé Rodriguez (Pose), Annabelle Dexter-Jones (Succession), Odessa A’zion (Grand Army) and Julie White (Grace Under Fire). “) “), Debra Monk (“NYPD Blue”) and Dominic Burgess (“FEUD: Bette and Joan”).
Part 1 of the upcoming season is scheduled to premiere on September 12th on FX. Due to filming delays due to the ongoing SAG-AFTRA strike, this season could not be completed before its fall premiere and will instead debut in two parts.
