Kizumonogatari: Koyomi Vamp will air in January 2024
A trailer for Kizumonogatari: Koyomi Vamp is available on the official Aniplex YouTube channel. At a little under a minute long, it really just focuses on Koyomi and Kiss-Shot. The film will be released in Japan on January 12, 2024. There is no news yet about an international release, neither in cinemas nor on streaming services. [Thanks, KaroshiMyriad!]
This is a compilation film of the three Kizumonogatari Films. Therefore, it is unlikely that there will be any new scenes. The Kizumonogatari The film trilogy was broadcast in Japanese cinemas from 2016 to 2017 and adapts the Kizumonogatari Light novel that came out in 2008. It serves as a prequel to Bakemonogatariand shows Koyomi’s past with Meme and how he became a vampire.
The Monogatari The light novel series by Nisio Isin is about Koyomi Araragi, a high school student and part vampire. He uses his previous experiences with aberrations to help his classmates when they get into trouble with them. Although episodic in nature (with each arc focusing on a different girl and topic), character development and relationship changes continue throughout the story.
