Kroy Biermann reflects on past ‘mistakes’ in first post since Kim Zolciak filed for divorce
Kroy Bierman thinks about his past Kim Zolciak amidst their very precarious presence.
On Wednesday, the retired soccer player started Instagram to share a message with his followers. He posted a photo with the following quote:
“When I look back on my life, I see pain, mistakes and heartache. When I look in the mirror, I see strength, lessons learned and pride in myself.”
In the caption of the post, the 37-year-old father of six wrote:
“Great memories with all my 6 kids too! One day at a time…”

This is the first post Kroy has made on social media since he and his wife announced they were filing for divorce. The former outside linebacker announces Kroy Jr12, cash11 and twins Kaia And Kane9, with Kim – he also legally adopted her daughters from a previous relationship Brielle26, and Ariana21. So when he says “all six of my kids,” he sort of means Brielle and Ariana — though they may be growing more distant…

As Perezcious readers know, the couple’s divorce comes against a backdrop of serious money problems. They reportedly owe it IRS over $1 million and $15,000 in unpaid taxes to her home state of Georgia. However, the financial problems seem to be just the tip of the iceberg at the moment, as the police have already been called to their common home on numerous occasions due to domestic disputes. As recently as Friday, a police report was uncovered detailing a heated argument between the pair that ended with Kim reportedly punching Kroy in the back of the head! She apparently said he locked some of her belongings, including her passport, in a safe and hid the key from her. Yeesh!
This super messy breakup came to a head last month when the NFL Star urged his wife to need a psychiatric evaluation over her alleged gambling addiction, which he says got her into this money issue in the first place. The whole time RHOA The star demanded that her husband take a drug test and responded by alleging that HE was the one who posed the real danger to her children and not herself. The filing at the time said the 45-year-old had him on caught smoking marijuana, and she said she had serious concerns about the safety and well-being of the minor children while they were in the defendant’s care, and that she was “fearful that the children could be exposed to the defendant’s smoking and drug use.” “
Perhaps this post from Kroy is a sign things are calming down? He talks about learning from mistakes. Hopefully he and Kim can reflect on their differences and amid all their hardships make the best choice for themselves and their children?
