Kyle Richards said she was glad people were watching her sister’s behavior.

Meanwhile, Kyle Richards opened up about her sister Kathy Hilton’s behavior a cast journey to Aspen, but she didn’t want her comments published.

On 12^th season of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” Richards’ sister, Kathy Hilton, had an off-camera meltdown that reportedly began at a private nightclub where most of the cast were in attendance. To She quarreled with a DJ Over a Michael Jackson song, Hilton drove home in a Sprinter van with Lisa Rinna and reportedly walked away. Rinna claimed Hilton turned violent when they returned to Richard’s vacation home where they were staying and began screaming and throwing things while vowing to “destroy” Richards and her family. Hilton later apologized for her behavior.

In a scene that was cut from the “RHOBH” season, Richards admitted she was glad her co-stars witnessed her sister’s erratic behavior.

In a previously unaired “RHOBH” scene Beginning with the season finale, Erika Jayne was seen telling the group something Richards confided in her.

“All I can say is, when it all went down, Kyle said to me, ‘I’m glad people are seeing this so they…’ Erika Jayne said, before Richards interrupted her, ‘By the way, that was between us, by the way, Erika, thanks. … That was private.”

In a confessional, Richards said, “If I share something confidentially, I don’t expect you to share it with the group.”

She then admitted: “And yes, I was relieved someone else saw what I have to endure sometimes. And yes, I said that because I was very hurt and angry at my sister. But I don’t want her to share that with everyone.”

Taking to Twitter, some fans wondered why such an important scene would have been cut from the show. Others felt it was an indicator that Richards may have “set up” her sister to look bad as payback for her past family troubles.

“Kyle confirmed Kathy. They should have included that clip in the original episode,” said one commenter wrote.

“Lmao why would they cut that?” another asked.

“Ikr this is one of the most important clips of this season that will change everything,” one commenter said added.

Richards was also a guest on the October 12, 2022 episode of “Watch What Happens Live,” where host Andy Cohen asked her where her husband Mauricio Umansky was in their home during the Hilton meltdown.

“He was asleep and we never talked about it, that’s true!” Richards said. “He slept in our bedroom. They stayed downstairs too and we stayed upstairs… He slept soundly.”

On social media, some fans questioned how Umansky could have overslept the tirade described by Rinna.

“Kyle admits Mauricio was home during the alleged Kathy meltdown. She kept telling us how small her house was, why didn’t he hear all that? #wwhl #RHOBH,” a viewer tweeted.

“Apparently Mauricio slept through Kathy’s whole breakdown. Kyle says their rooms are on two different levels and he’s a heavy sleeper, but if Kathy threw and broke things, wouldn’t he hear that? #RHOBH #WWHL,” another asked.

“Nope. Kyle was there and so was Mauricio. This was carefully orchestrated. A sad attempt to get revenge for all the things they accuse Kathy and her husband of,” another speculated.

The aftermath of the “RHOBH” season has taken a toll on Richards and her sister. Months after filming, Richards said E! news that “things aren’t great right now” between her and Hilton. But she’s also distanced herself from Rinna, who made the story of Hilton’s meltdown public by speaking about it on camera.

“It’s really difficult because Lisa has always been a good friend to me, but then she had this argument with my sister Kathy,” Richards said on the October 5, 2022 episode of the RHOBH aftershow. “It’s happening on Instagram now and everywhere, and at the end of the day, family is family. So that puts me in a very bad position, and then I get angry about it because I’m like, ‘I’ve always had a good relationship with these people, and now it’s compromised.’
