Kyle Richards was a lead actor on “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” since the show’s debut in 2010. The mother-of-four is the only original actress left to star in the Bravo reality hit, and though she will forever be known for it shocking limousine scene With her sister Kim Richards, the current 12th season was one of her rockiest.

The Bravo veteran has been criticized by fans for interfering in her co-stars’ conversations and for their treatment of her older sister Kathy Hilton during a cast trip to Aspen.

In a new interview, Richards admitted the stress of being on “RHOBH” is taking its toll and that she originally thought the show was a short-term gig.

Richards is a former child star who appeared in John Carpenter’s original Halloween film and the long-running NBC drama Little House on the Prairie. More recently, she directed a holiday film for Peacock and appeared in two “Halloween” sequels.

But despite a long list of acting credits, Richards is best known for her tenure on RHOBH.

In an interview in September 2022 with Fox NewsRichards revealed she never imagined she would still be a housewife more than a decade after joining the show.

“I don’t know how I’ve been doing it to housewives for so long, to be honest that’s 12 years,” Richards said. “When I started the show I thought I would do a little show that I would do maybe three months and that was it. I had no idea I would be here like this 12 years later.”

The Bravo veteran also admitted it’s impossible to escape “the drama” on the show and that sometimes she just gets “sucked in.”

“It’s very difficult to put your life out there and have people judge and weigh, and the struggles and the drama really weigh on you,” admitted Richards. “I don’t know how I’m still holding out, folks! “

During Season 12, Richards took a lot of flack for questioning co-star Sutton Stracke after revealing she had suffered multiple miscarriages. On the September 7, 2022 episode of “Watch What Happens Live,” Andy Cohen pointed out that Richards’ grilling of Stracke “didn’t land” with viewers.

“I wish I could change a lot of things that night,” Richards admitted to Cohen. “It was so bad. And it scared me so much that I couldn’t watch the show for about five episodes after that because I was so scared.”

Richards also revealed she was dreading filming the RHOBH reunion after a turbulent season that included a devastating confrontation with her sister, Kathy Hilton.

When continuing the “See What Happens Live Aftershow” Shortly before the reunion, Richards said it was getting “difficult” to sit down with the cast after some “rough times” on the show. “Next to [RHOBH] Season 5, this is the reunion I’m least looking forward to,” she said.

But will it be their last reunion?

“I’m always like, ‘I don’t know,’ and every season I’m like, ‘Well, maybe I can do another one,'” Richards said E! news earlier in 2022. “And sometimes I just think, ‘As can I continue?’ especially when I’m really upset, like last season when we finished. I thought, ‘There’s absolutely no way. I’m done. I’m done. I want to live my life in peace. I can not stand that.'”

When asked if she will ultimately return for RHOBH season 13, Richards replied, “I don’t know. I just take it every day.”
