Mourning Lauren Goodger cut a somber figure on Tuesday as her ex-boyfriend Jake McLean was buried just two weeks after the funeral of their newborn daughter Lorena in Essex.

The TOWIE star, 35, watched the procession, which was led by a hearse adorned with a flower arrangement in the shape of a Lamborghini badge.

In an Instagram tribute after the service, she said her late partner was taking care of Lorena while she shared a series of throwback snaps with Jake.

Lauren’s black eye was clearly visible at the service after she was allegedly assaulted on the night of August 4, the day of her baby’s funeral.

After the alleged attack, her boyfriend Charles Drury, 25, was arrested and released on bail.

The tragic loss came while she was still mourning the loss of her ex and a visibly emotional Lauren – who dated Jake from 2012 to 2016 – dressed in white for the service.

Jake, 33, and his TOWIE star girlfriend Yazmin Oukhellou, 31, were in a car on Sunday July 3 that fell 70 feet off a cliff in Bodrum, Turkey, killing Jake and leaving her badly injured .

The funeral was attended by supercars and expensive luxury vehicles, while Jake’s family and friends covered the cars with a Lamborghini flower arrangement and large “Jakey,” “Cuzzy,” and “Son” designs in white flowers.

Jake’s friend Yazmin was not pictured at the funeral, reports Jake’s mother Anita Walsh told Turkish authorities she believes she may have played a role in her son’s death.

It has been claimed that the couple had a heated argument at a nightclub just before the car crash, but Yazmin has insisted that didn’t happen.

After the service, Lauren took to Instagram to share a photomontage with Jake, which she captioned, “Rip Jake you’re always apart from me… we’ve shared like no other for 5 years ❤️ take care of Lorena for me my.” angel baby.”

It comes after Lauren was hospitalized with serious facial injuries and was questioned by police after “attacking” her at her newborn daughter’s funeral.

Police were called at 00:37 on Thursday 4 August to receive reports of an altercation and her boyfriend Charles was arrested on suspicion of assault.

According to police, he was released on bail in the early hours of Friday morning.

Lauren was taken to the hospital for medical checks by her friend after the incident and has been awaiting her X-ray results ever since.

Charles denies attacking Lauren and told the Sun, “There’s a whole other side to the stuff.”

A spokesman for the Metropolitan Police said: “Police were called at 12.37am on Thursday 4 August to report an altercation.

“Officers attended. A woman in her 30s was found at the scene with facial injuries.

“A man has been arrested on suspicion of assault. He was taken to a police station in east London and subsequently released on bail pending further investigation. Inquiries continue.’

A close friend of Lauren, Lauryn Goodman, has admitted that she is moved to tears every time she looks at the star’s face after the incident.

Lauryn, 31, opened up about how Lauren went through the “toughest, darkest ride in secret” as she shared a message of support with her pal on Instagram.

Lauren’s daughter Lorena died after giving birth on July 8 with the umbilical cord around her neck and was buried on August 3.

Charles, who denies assaulting Lauren, was arrested on suspicion of assault in the hours after Wednesday night’s funeral and has since been released on bail.

Sharing a snap of Lauren’s daughter Larose, Lauren’s sister Nicola said: “This beautiful little girl doesn’t even know how lucky she is to have such a strong, amazing mother! As long as you have each other, you will both be fine.’

The alleged attack came just hours after Lauren attended the funeral of her baby daughter Lorena.

Doctors tried in vain to save the 9-pound baby, but she was born with two knots in her umbilical cord, which was tied around her neck.

After her death, her traumatized mother spent hours saying goodbye to her.

The heartbroken star also later revealed that she still “has a little bump,” which sometimes leads her to believe her little girl is “still around.”

She said: “It’s weird. My body feels like it’s restless, like it’s missing a newborn.

Lauren posted an Instagram message sharing how much she loves her daughter, who died minutes after she was born on July 8, and said: “I carried you, I felt you grow. Longed for the day when we would meet. Dreamed of your future. Not only did I know you, I fell in love with you.”
