Lauren Goodger’s partner Charles Drury has paid tribute to his late newborn daughter after she died just two days after Lauren was born.
Former TOWIE star Lauren, 35, confirmed the terrible news in an Instagram post on Sunday morning, admitting the child, named Lorena, was born “without any complications” before her death.
And Charles, who is raising 11-month-old daughter Larose with Lauren, took to his Instagram later in the day and wrote: “Your little heart will beat inside mine forever.”

Charles wrote: “Lorena Drury – 8/7/22.
“Our beautiful little girl is so perfect in every way that 8/7/22 will always be your day. Your little heart will forever beat in mine, I will love you til the end of time.
“You remind me so much of your big sister, you would have looked like little twins, Larose will always know how beautiful and strong you were.

“This isn’t something I thought I’d ever have to write, but I’m so proud to be your daddy. I’ll see you soon baby, but now sleep tight.”
TV personality Lauren revealed the heartbreaking news that her newborn baby had died on Sunday.

Lauren wrote: “Lorena [angel emoji] RIP 7/8/22 She was the most beautiful healthy baby I have ever seen as was her sister @babylarose.x…
“Words cannot describe how a mother loses her baby that I carried and gave birth to perfectly all these months to have my angel taken from me [angel emoji].
“There were no pregnancy or labor complications and she was fine and healthy but I won’t go into details now I just know there was nothing wrong with her or me, she was perfect.
“I can’t understand it, she’s so beautiful, Larose twin, something like that. I’m exhausted [heartbreak emoji].’

Lauren admitted she will “never get over” the tragic loss of her daughter and asked for time and space to grieve while she focused her attention on her older child.
She continued, “I’m back home from the hospital. Me and Charlie have been spending so much time with our little girl Lorena and I haven’t said goodbye yet [heartbreak emojis].
“Please can I ask photographers to respect our privacy at the moment as we have a lot to mourn and organize a funeral which I just need this time and with my little girl Larose she is my rock to see me through this situation brings, or I would not survive…
“I will never get over it but I will learn to live with Lorena in my heart every day, she will always be with me and I will be with her again one day…
‘My [angel emoji] Lorena, I love you so much [heartbreak emoji](sic).’
Lauren announced she was expecting her second child in January, just days after it was revealed she had kicked partner Charles out of the family home following his affair with another woman.
In conversation with OK! Magazine about her pregnancy, Lauren admitted the exes debated whether to keep the baby.
She said: “We weren’t very careful and Charlie was really happy but to be honest I was really torn. I said, “I’m getting myself back together right now – I’m going back to the beginning. Is that fair?” You get real mother guilt].
“I had a lot on my mind, so I waited a little longer before announcing it. Charlie was like, “I really want this baby.” And I said, “Me too.” I made the decision to move on with it and I’m so glad I did.

Lauren and Charles split in November, months after the birth of their baby daughter, but reconciled three weeks later. They then split again in January before getting back together in April.
She added: “We had this little break [in November] and he came back and said, “You don’t have resignation — I want this family.”
“Deep down I knew I would go ahead with it, but I was scared. I also have to think of Larose.«
Lauren explained how she found out she was expecting just eight weeks after giving birth to Larose: “I haven’t had a period for a few weeks, my nipples were killing me and when I was breastfeeding the pain was excruciating.
“I was like, ‘I’ll bet you I’m pregnant!’ I took a test and it was positive.’

Charles added that his time without Lauren made him realize what was missing and that therapy helped him mature from “boy to man.”
The couple’s whirlwind romance first came to light in October 2020 when Lauren teased that she was dating a mystery man who would soon be identified as Charles.
They announced that they are expecting their first child together just three months after going public with their relationship.
The news comes as she mourns the loss of her ex-boyfriend Jake McClean, who was killed after his car went off the road in Turkey last Sunday, leaving passenger and close friend Yazmin Oukhellou badly injured.

Lauren broke her silence on the shock death on her Instagram page, writing, “RIP Jake I’m at a loss for words right now. My thoughts are with your family and friends.’
She later shared a heartbreaking series of texts to her Instagram Stories on Wednesday, just days after his death was confirmed.
The TV personality released a clip of Bryan Adam’s hit Everything I Do (I Do It For You) after revealing that she and Jake had secretly reconciled two years earlier.
Lauren previously revealed that she suffered a miscarriage after trying to have a baby with Jake while competing on Dancing On Ice in 2013.
Sharing her heartbreak on Channel 5’s In Therapy, the reality star explained: “I’ve been on a pretty intense TV show. I had to try to perform when I was pretty far away. It didn’t last’.
Lauren said: “I’m the type of person who moves on when something happens. That’s me. It’s not something I brought up.’
