Law & Order: SVU stars Ice-T and Christopher Meloni refuted an alleged rift between them on Monday.

Taking to Twitter on Monday, Ice-T, 64, posted an email he received from The National Enquirer seeking comment on a story that claimed they had known each other since Meloni’s “return to the franchise.” ‘ in 2021 on the series Law & Order: Organized Crime.

The email reads, “Sources told The ENQUIRER that the former rapper has become jealous of the attention Mr. Meloni has received since his return.”

Ice-T denied any issues with Meloni, 61, as he said he forwarded the email to his longtime colleague in the Dick Wolf franchise.

“I just sent this email to my friend @Chris_Meloni,” Ice-T said. ‘Clown wet MFs trying to invent drama out of thin air… WOW… MFs really are on this BS.’

Sharing a picture of the email, Meloni wrote: “So… [Ice-T] was this sent. He was kind enough to let me know we were arguing.”

Ice-T added to Meloni’s comment: “LOL… clownass MFs… Chris is my MF man! F’em you only invent BS. Crazy.’

Ice-T opened up about his longtime friendship with Meloni in a 2021 appearance on The View before returning to the franchise.

He noted that he’s kept in touch with Meloni “the entire time” he’s been away from the series, “because we’re friends in real life.”

He added: “To make him come back and see what will happen with him and Mariska, everyone is just waiting for this moment, but it’s good, he’s a friend, I worked with him for 12 years, we became close Friends.”
